 How?

  1. Prior to the brief, prepare multiple cut outs where each piece contains one relevant information about the brief.

  2. Ask each individual in the team to “design” his/her own brief, by putting together information that he/she feel relevant into the “my creative brief” template.

  3. Each individual comes up with ideas based on his/her own brief and share it with the group.

  4. In the group, choose relevant ideas that can be further refined, and formulate a brief that is agreed upon by everyone.

 Example?

The all-consensus approach fosters greater ownership in each individual project member.

 Why?

Prepare all of the necessary information, and break them into parts. The facilitator should also define mandatory requirements (e.g. deliverables or production constraints), and note them down on the “my creative brief” template.
